Hexagon Smart Manufacturing Seminar concludes on a happy note

Hexagon Production Software, manufacturing solutions provider successfully conducted Hexagon Smart Manufacturing Seminar on September 19, 2019 at Le Meridien at Gurugram, Delhi. The event enabled sharing of knowledge and best practices within manufacturing community. More than 125 members including prospects, customers, associates and partners attended the event.

Amol Mane, General Manager – Technical & Marketing, India & South East Asia hosted the entire event. He also explained how we can convert our Product Design Concept into Reality using VISI Products such as VISI REVERSE, VISI CAD, VISI ANALYSIS, VISI MOULD, VISI FLOW, VISI PROGRESS, VISI BLANK, VISI ELECTRODE – Design & Manufacturing and VISI CAM. He also explained how WORKXPLORE can be effectively used as a Platform for Collaboration between Design Dept and various other downstream departments such as Manufacturing Engineering, Purchase, Production, Quality Assurance, Vendor Development etc. Later, he also showcased how NCSIMUL can be used to build a Digital Twin of a Machine Tool connecting the Digital World with the Real / Physical World on Industry 4.0 platform.

Adinath More, Technical Manager – CAM Products presented Efficient machining of Die/ Mould using WORKNC CAM Software and how to improve productivity for production machining using EDGECAM CAM Software. He showcased various important functionalities such as Waveform Roughing, Holder Based Programming, Dynamic Raw Material Definition, Auto 5 Machining using WORKNC and Automatic Feature based Programming, Waveform Turning, Strategy Manager, Technology Assistant, Code Wizard for Machine & Post Processor Building and Probing using EDGECAM.

The product display booths from Hexagon Metrology, MSC Software & Kyocera Tooling provided an opportunity for the attendees to understand the latest technologies, products and solutions available in the market.
